Overview

THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking a Tier II Client Service Technician to provide HQ AETC Information Technology Services support. The successful candidate will provide timely, proactive, high quality communications and computer services to each unit/directorate. The contractor shall be responsible for Tier II client support to include touch maintenance of user devices, initial problem triage and trouble ticket management.

 

The successful candidate is expected to be a self-starter and quickly ramp up to speed and be able to work independently with limited guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and desktop support and field technician support for desktops, portables, peripherals, and software
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Office, Outlook, Win10, and Microsoft Teams/Office 365
  • Check system for authorized access to specific networks
  • Complete hardware implementation/installations
  • Troubleshooting software installs and issues
  • Reset passwords, creating accounts
  • Provide user support for the network and desktop hardware and software problems
  • Diagnose problems, and recommend and/or implement solutions
  • Create email accounts, change status in Active Directory
  • Support multiple U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) networks at different classifications
  • Support video teleconference (VTC) setup, operation, and scheduling

Qualifications

  • The candidates shall have, at a minimum, three (3) years’ experience in Information Assurance (IA) technology, and possess a Secret clearance.
  • Candidates shall possess 8570 IAT Level II Certification IAW 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.
  • The candidates shall have experience with Air Force approved Standard Desktop Configurations (SDC) (including but not limited to Windows 7/Windows 8/Windows 10) and approved MS Office software (including but not limited to 2007/2010/2013/O365).
  • The candidates shall have knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, server hardware and software platforms and related support tools.
  • The candidates shall have experience with managing day-to-day configuration and operation of the software environment and hardware/operating systems.
  • The candidates shall have experience with mobile device support to include, but not limited to laptops, Slates, Personal Digital Assistant and cell phones.
  • The candidates shall have experience in evaluating potential information assurance security risks and taking corrective actions.
  • The candidates shall be knowledgeable in Video Telephone Conference projection systems (VTC) and associated sub-systems software listed in Appendix 3 to meet audiovisual requirements. This includes ensuring VTC equipment is operational and available for utilization. Not to include the setup of VTC appointments or conferences.
  • The candidates shall have experience interfacing with external agencies (such as, the Air Force Enterprise Service Desk) to resolve technical issues impacting directorate/unit users.
