  • Overview

    THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking a qualified and experienced Program Manager (PM) to successfully manage services to support the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The person in this position will manage the Enterprise Information Technology Shared Services (EITSS) Program Management and Integration Support contract. The person in this position will oversee all aspects of work that are part of the scope and/or task orders assigned which includes program management support, asset management, business relationship management, product and service catalog support, process, and integration support.

    *Contingent position upon contract award

    Responsibilities

    • Provide program management and integration support which specifically includes work required to
      • Monitor, test, or report on the Performance of Work (POW) being performed under the Infrastructure Operations and End User Support Performance Work Statements (PWSs). Data that supports contractor performance monitoring will become available through the service management system (currently Remedy) and other data sources as applicable to provide input.
      • Administer, manage, and perform the duties and responsibilities as defined in this EITSS Program Management and Integration Support (PM/IS) PWS.

     Other Responsibities are as follows:

    • Provisioning, management, administration and troubleshooting of the data network services (WLAN), file and printer servers, firewalls, routers, switches, circuits, VPN, Email related servers, etc.
    • Back up storage provisioning, capacity management, and day-to-day operations of the installed storage and data environment and their corresponding support services. Operations provides for the management and maintenance of the DOT Headquarters and field locations using industry standards and DOT tailored processes to maintain network availability and to ensure/maintain security accreditation
    • Integrated security services for monitoring Infrastructure and Network activity (remote access, firewall management, security vulnerability and detection, etc.)
    • Management of customer applications, application servers, storage, databases and/or web services utilized by the DOT environment
    • Technical design services are the activities associated with the assessment and definition of functional, performance, IT Continuity and Disaster Recovery, and Security requirements that also comply with regulatory and DOT policies
    • Incident management for Tier 2 and 3 as it relates to restoring normal service operation as quickly as possible and minimizing the adverse impact on business operations
    • Configuration management services to identify, control, maintain and verify installed hardware, software and network versions including change and release management
    • Continuity of operation (COOP)/disaster recovery (DR) services to ensure DOT’s capability to resume critical business functions to specific performance targets within specified time periods
    • End user management: help desk, desktop and wireless support and management for users at headquarters to include dot field sites including:
      • End-to-end incident management from Tiers 0 through 2
      • Tier 0: Self-help tools for users
      • Tier 1: Respond, analyze, diagnose and initiate triage for all service requests to perform incident support and control, troubleshooting, recording and resolution.
      • Tier 2: End User support for desktop equipment, installs, moves, adds and changes (IMAC) related to IT equipment, VIP/S1 or S2 support, and special support services
    • Development of knowledge management systems
    • Asset management, tracking, verification and reporting to include weekly property receipts to enable timely charges to customers
    • Wireless support for issuing, tracking, and troubleshooting devices
    • Ensuresthat the task order PWS and requirements are satisfied and that clients will recommend CENTECH for additional work

    Qualifications

    • At least six (6) years of related experience leading and managing large scale IT programs, including service delivery contracts, mission critical programs, IT infrastructure systems and solution development
    • At least two (2) years of proven experience managing a program with at least 50 personnel delivering infrastructure and operations support services. This will include administrative responsibility, personnel and resource management, review of technical processes, developing and enforcing project schedules and maintaining professional standards of performance
    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • Must be able to obtain/maintain agency clearance (Public Trust)
    • Prior DOT experience preferred
