    THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to contribute to the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) Network Infrastructure Support Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Program, Andrews Air Force Base (AFB), Maryland. The person in this position will assist users with issues associated with the use of voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones and the VoIP phone system.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze, manage, and/or perform tasks necessary to evaluate performance of the network infrastructure and associated systems to ensure optimum network efficiency

    Qualifications

    • Must have one (1) year of experience
    • Must have a Secret Security Clearance
    • Must have a Security+ certification
    • Must have a broad, deep customer service orientation and professional demeanor
    • Must possess above average verbal and written communication skills
    • Must possess expertise in Cisco VoIP phones (with analogue/digital [single/multi line phones] and VoIP phones)
    • Must possess Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Routing and Switching certification
    • Must have schedule flexibility to work varying hours

    Desired skills:

    • Demonstrated experience interfacing with the U.S. Air Force is highly desired
