  • Overview

    THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking a Financial Analyst/Contracts Administrator. The person in this position will assist the Executive Director of Contracts and Executive Director of Operations in all financial matters associated with contract and task order operations, including participation in pre-billing activities, analyzing and processing subcontractor invoices, preparing purchase requests associated with contract and task order requirements, and providing budgeting assistance and financial forecasting assistance. This position also includes direct coordination with members of the CENTECH Contracts/Operations team members and CENTECH Accounting Department. The person in this position will be supervised by both the Executive Director of Contracts.

     

    This is a direct hire, full time employment opportunity and work location is in Falls Church, Virginia. Local DC Metro area candidates only and no option for remote or telecommute work.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in all financial/contractual aspects of active contracts and task orders
    • Coordinate with and work closely with CENTECH Contracts/Operations Department leadership and members of the Accounting team in all financial/contractual matters associated with active contracts and task orders
    • Coordinate with and work closely with the CENTECH Chief Financial Officer and FInance Department, including the Controller, Billing, Accounts Payable in all financial matters associated with active contracts and task orders
    • Coordinate with and work closely with the subcontractors associated with active contracts and task orders regarding financial matters, including invoice verification, request for funding, other direct cost (ODC)expenditures, etc.
    • Ensure the accuracy of the financial posture of each active contract, task order and closeout
    • Prepare all funding documents associated with active contracts and task orders, including the following:
    • Prepare purchase requests for the issuance of purchase orders for contract and task order (Labor, Travel, ODCs)
    • Prepare purchase requests for the issuance of purchase orders to accurately “fund” subcontractors
    • Prepare and maintain estimates to complete for each contract and task order
    • Prepare and maintain estimates at completion for each contract and task order
    • Prepare and maintain individual contract and task order compensation plans used and analyze the effects of contract performer salary raises
    • Prepare documentation to respond to price proposals for each contract and task order
    • Review contract language in Agreements and update any Agreements, as appropriate, based on direction of Executive Director of Contracts
    • Assist in Costpoint utilization, as appropriate
    • Assist in pricing for new business opportunities, as appropriate

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree in a business related field is desired
    • A Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) is desirable, but not required
    • Must have four (4) years' directly related work experience
    • The following experience factors also apply:
      • Exceptional Microsoft Excel proficiency, e.g. linking tables and pivot tables

      • Convey financial information to technical and non-technical audiences verbally and in writing
      • Conversant with Government contracting requirements
