  • Overview

    THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to provide overall computer user and network architect support services for the Joint Space Operations Center (JSpOC) mission located at Vandenberg Air Force Base (AFB) in California.

     

    This position requires an active Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.

    Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain configuration management (CM) processes and procedures
    • Maintain and control the baseline configuration and required metadata
    • Perform quarterly verification and audits of configuration and documentation on 10% of the baseline
    • Monitor and track process for baseline change requests
    • Migrate configuration from Access database to Remedy
    • Create, update and maintain drawings of floor plans, communication rooms, and rack elevations
    • Provide Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) information

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science degree information technology or related discipline
    • Five to seven (5-7) years of relevant experience in related field; may apply towards degree
    • Active Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance
    • U.S. Citizenship
    • Strong organizational, documentation and reporting skills required

    Desired skills

    • Knowledge of BMC Remedy is preferred
    • Knowlegde of Visual is preferred
