THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH^®) is seeking a Configuration Manager to identify, organize, and control software and hardware configuration changes. The person in this position will identify and coordinate processes for version management, system build, backup and recovery, archiving, and change management. They will oversee baseline configurations for applications, software, and hardware assets.

• Produce a monthly activity report no later than the fifth day of every month
• Document accomplishments, issues and risks
• Work with customers to formulate and define improved processes that benefit the Program Management Office (PMO)
• Provide advanced technical expertise required to support and develop the skills of less experienced team members (project staff)
• Develop/maintain an electronic Continuity Folder for assigned tasks. Provide updated version to the government project manager (PM) when requested
• Document hours worked for CENTECH daily in CENTECH’s Deltek system
• Provide other reports as required in support of the critical responsibilities above
• Interact with other team members to accomplish task-related activities in a professional manner that reflects a positive image

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and must be able to pass a National Agency Check (NAC) - Secret Security Clearance Desired

• Must have solid knowledge/experience related to software development / life cycle management / configuration management processes

• Must be skilled in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.)

Highly Desired:

• Knowledge and experience with configuration management tools and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) principles
• Knowledge of Government regulations, manuals, standards, and industry publications related to software design, programming, and development functions
