    THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking a Senior Audio/Visual (AV) and Voice Teleconferences (VTC) System Subject Matter Expert. The person in this position will serve in support of the U.S. Air Force (AF) Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) AV Control Room (AVCR) team. They will support and accomplish tasks associated with AV. This will be for all AVCR functions including:  technical support, monitoring VTCs, meetings, briefings, ceremonies, conference rooms, presentations support, scheduling, Commercial Access Television (CATV), collaborative tools, visualization tools, AV projects, remote facilitation, HUB operations, digital signage, video feeds, video and audio distribution and AV troubleshooting. Support for all conference room’s video display and audio systems, to include simultaneously displaying presentations/information, when appropriate; support and administer all digital signage in the facility; support and administer all touch panels in the facility; administer all AV distribution equipment, AV switching equipment, displays, and other associated equipment that provide a secure, robust, and integrated information system between the end users and their required resources, to include lifecycle management of that equipment.

    This position will be located at Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), Nebraska. This is a bid opportunity, contingent upon contract award and requires an active Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance to be considered.



    • Serves as the senior expert advisor to USSTRATCOM and other government personnel in his/her area of professional responsibility
    • Administers, configures, and operates systems supporting the conference rooms and collaboration spaces, including ensuring the ability to display six (6) or more simultaneous images and accept audio from any available source
      • These rooms could hold up to seven (7) different video teleconference (VTC) networks including Unclassified, Secret, Allied, Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS), Distributed Continuity Integrated Network-Top Secret (DCIN-TS), and Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Local Ara Network (LAN) VTC (JWICS Desktop) VTC capabilities along with Unclassified And Secret collaboration tool capabilities and some other VTC networks
      • The rooms will also have Unclassified And Top Secret/SCI audio conferencing capabilities and have the ability to control local room and AV resources via a touch panel interface. The touch panel will control displays, cameras, VTC, Blu-ray, Commercial Access Television (CATV), microphone muting, speaker volume, and will allow for the selection of internal and external sources of audio and video. Each room will be connected to the AVCR and this connectivity will allow each room to optionally transmit and receive AV sources with other conference rooms, workspaces, and external locations
      • Support the rooms’ digital signage displaying room classification and time zone clocks
    • Will serve as a Senior AV and VTC Systems Subject Matter Expert for the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) C2 Facility Systems.
    • Support the design, implementation, and installation of AV, voice, and VTC systems for USSTRATCOM
    • Investigates and solves problems or resolves conflicts related to AV
    • Performs complex systems development, design work & digital systems engineering
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Qualified candidates msut have more than five (5) years of demonstrated, relevant experience with and/or education in the following:
      • Complex audio/visual distribution systems
      • Enterprise VTC solutions (Integrated Services Digital Network [ISDN] and Internet Protocol [IP] based) to include bridging, gateways, gatekeepers, border controllers, and management systems
      • Systems at multiple classifications (Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret/SCI)
      • Room control systems
      • Writing control system software code and graphical user interfaces to control and administer complex multi-classification operational environments
      • CATV (both satellite and terrestrial) systems
      • Cisco Management Suites and all Cisco VTC systems, Cisco Multipoint Control Units and Gateways
      • Large scale audio solutions, including but not limited to theater design, large venue multi input multi output systems
      • Operating and maintaining complex audio/visual distribution systems
      • AV distribution systems
      • Operating and maintaining AV distribution systems
      • Operating and maintaining enterprise VTC solutions
      • Enterprise VTC systems
      • ISDN and IP based solutions including bridging, gatekeepers, and gateways
      • Cisco Telepresence Management Suite
      • Operating and maintaining room control systems
      • Programming room control systems using Crestron Simpl, Simpl+, AMX Netlinx Studio
      • Programming in complex multi-classification environments
      • VTC endpoint operations (Secure/Unsecure) – conference room systems
      • VTC infrastructure knowledge (MCU, Gatekeepers, Gateways, Crypto equipment)
      • In-depth IP and ISDN knowledge (high-speed serial circuits) pertaining VTCs
      • Video routing (matrix switching, advance system operations)
    • Must have audio system knowledge (digital signal processor operations/configuration)
    • Must have control system knowledge (AMX Touch panel programming/certification)
    • Must have VTC (system specific) certifications
    • Must have certifications in AV control systems, AV design or equivalent
