    THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the marketing and research team and new business growth unit of an information technology/technical support services federal contractor. The professional in this position will support various executives with the development of documentation, reports, and presentations in the preparation of marketing materials, internal communications, client correspondence and proposals. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent dictation and note taking skills as well as superior organizational and planning skills. The professional in this position will be required to provide administrative support to the business growth, sales and marketing staff along with efficient management of day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate is a confident, creative, self-motivated, highly productive professional who is an over-achiever that thrives in a challenging fast-paced professional environment.



    • Utilize creative skills to contribute to supporting the business growth unit in developing strategies to present to clients
    • Support the preparation of presentations using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Interface with industry partners in preparing business growth proposals
    • Draft, edit, proofread, and review internal and external correspondence, e-mails
    • Utilize expert time management skills and expert judgment to conserve staff time by screening, researching, and managing correspondence, messages, telephone calls, and clients
    • Identify and clarify requirements for special projects, and events, and speaking engagements; research options; schedule meetings, luncheons and conferences; and plan and coordinate logistics
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring that deadlines are met
    • Prioritize work and ensure assignments are completed in a professional and timely manner
    • Maintain the ACT! database for contacts and ensure follow-up actions are completed
    • Perform research and maintain records on vendors and potential vendors qualifications
    • Provide meeting minutes and dictation note taking


    • Bachelor's degree in English or equivalent executive administrative experience
    • Five to seven (5-7) years’ experience providing administrative support services
    • Exceptional time management and organization skills
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines
    • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with leadership, staff, and internal and  external clients
    • Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
    • Ability to perform Internet research
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and sensitive data
    • Exude a high level of pride in ensuring all the products personally produced are successfully written, edited, and well presented
