Overview

THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking a Technical Onsite Program Manager (PM) in support of a U.S. Air Force National Capitol Region System Engineering and Technical Assistance project located at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The person in this position will have responsibilities involving administrative, personnel and resource management; reviewing  technical processes; developing and enforcing project schedules; and maintaining professional standards of performance. This person ensures that the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other contractual requirements are satisfied. The person in this position also develops customer relations that will encourage and result in positive recommendations for the contractor to receive additional work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide program management support to ensure the government’s requirements are met within schedule, fulfill customer requirements, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate, integrate, plan, and oversee tasks, functions, contractor administration and management, cost management, and reporting to the government on all activities
  • Monitor program level risk/problem analysis and offer resolutions and mitigations
  • Monitor work performance, measure results, ensure deliverables and services meet or exceed contract requirements and facilitate communications using key performance measures
  • Maintain systems to address and record government issues to allow performance improvement
  • Handle all necessary transition-in/out planning and implementation activities, while maintaining continual coordination with the government
  • Handle requirements and system engineering solutions using proper database management tools
  • Recommend and provide a cost reduction plans for system and service modernization, upgrades, and replacement activities
  • Complete activities and government-provided checklists in an effort to ensure readiness and compliance for inspections (operational readiness inspections [ORIs] and unit effectiveness inspections [UEIs], etc.)
  • Provide full technical information support to customers during real-world emergencies, natural disasters, and weather events
  • Activate internal alert notification procedures
  • Institute and maintain processes that ensure problems and action items discussed with the government are tracked through resolution and provide timely status reporting
  • Process and track requirements and system engineering solutions with applicable database management tools
  • Recommend and provide a cost reduction plan to support system and service modernization, upgrades, and replacement activities for Enterprise capabilities
  • Provide full technical support to customers during real-world emergencies, weather events, natural disasters, etc.
  • Activate an internal alert notification procedure to ensure that all personnel respond in accordance with (IAW) governing plans

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Information Systems Management or Computer Science
  • Eight or more (8+) years of program management experience
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Current Security +CE certification
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Current/active SECRET security clearance
