THE CENTECH GROUP, Inc. (CENTECH®) is seeking a Help Desk Lead to oversee the Enterprise Service Desk support services and the programming of Web training activities. The person in this position will be responsible for providing the overall planning, direction and management of the Enterprise service desk / help desk support functions tasking. Responsibilities include administrative responsibility, personnel and resource management, review technical processes, developing and enforcing project schedules and maintaining professional standards of performance. The person in this position will ensure that the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and requirements are satisfied and that clients will recommend CENTECH for additional work.


This is a bid opportunity, contingent upon award and the qualified candidate may be selected as key personnel. Work location is in New Orleans, Louisiana and requires Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.


  • Primary representative responsible for all work awarded under the contract for the development of computer programming for the solution Enterprise service desk
  • Use the government provided and maintained software to support all requirements and planning, design, development, and for production, installation, and test and evaluation of computer systems
  • Provide project support to ensure the government’s requirements are met within schedule, fulfill customer requirements, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate, integrate, plan, and oversee tasks, functions, contractor administration and management, cost management, and reporting to the government on all activities
  • Monitor program level risks and possible mitigations as they relate to services
  • Monitor work performance, measure results, ensure deliverables and services meet or exceed contract requirements, support management and decision-making, and facilitate communications using key performance measures
  • Risk/problem analysis and resolution
  • Maintain systems to address and record government issues to allow improving of performance
  • Planning and scheduling all development phases of automatic data processing (ADP) projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Completed the following certifications within one and a half year of assuming duties:
    • Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) (Previously known as Certified Software
    • Engineering Professional [CSEP]), or with contracting officer's representative (COR) approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Certified Remedy Administrator)
  • Eight (8) years’ experience, to include: software design, development, and test and evaluation
  • Five (5) years programming experience with Remedy or Avaya programming languages.
  • Four (4) years’ experience to include: database development, Web page design, computer based training, development and using .NET tools and .net Integrated Development Environment tools,, SQL Server 2000, and HTML editor tools

         Note:  Experience may be concurrent.
